This appliance does not need software to be downloaded for ready use.
But if you want to have your database regularly updated, please, install the driver for Personal-MEDIO in your computer.
Install a driver only when you receive your hardware!
Do not forget into which USB socket you have installed it! – mark it on the computer with a sticker!!!
The Personal MEDIO does not have to work in other socket!! But usually it does – it depends on the computer system.
DRIVER FOR Personal-MEDIO – Personal-MEDIO is preprogrammed but for future download of a new database of pathogens, the driver must be installed, the download program would not work without it.

ATTENTION!!!
If you download the driver for Personal-MEDIO from the site of the producer, you have to UNZIPP it first. Proceed with the installation of the drive only after you have „unzipped“ driver-installation file. It is not good enough just to double click on the zipp file and install it straight away – the driver will not be installed in this way.

All programs will be installed in a folder: C:Program Files (x86)Diacom corporate
All back up files of your clients will be in another folder:
C:Diacom corporate.
Never delete these folders!!!

PROGRAM MICROSOFT EXPLORER + SOME ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMS WILL BLOCK THE DOWNLOADED PROGRAM – YOU WILL HAVE TO UNBLOCK IT –
THAT IS: TO OPEN A LINK IN THE EXPLORER DOWNLOAD WINDOW AND CLICK THE FILE OK – OR GET IT FROM THE ANTIVIRUS QUARANTINE BACK TO THE ORIGINAL FOLDER
(for example – NORTON antivirus blocks EVERYTHING with extension .exe or .dll)
PLEASE – first of all – create a separate folder on your harddisk – let´s say – DIACOM-INSTALL
– and download the following installation files into it – or move them to this folder from your „Downloaded files“ folder – if your program downloads files automatically without giving you a chance to choose a folder into which you want to have them downloaded. This way you won´t have to look for them in the future – you will have them all in one place.
